Toimittajat kirjoittavat usein eri alojen toimijoiden eettisyydestä. Sanna Ukkolan blogissa on juttu otsikolla Viiden tähden toimittajat , jossa pohdiskellaan journalismin etiikkaa. Eettisesti kestävä liiketoiminta peräänkuuluttaa avoimmuutta ja  yhteistyötä . Liiketoiminnan etiikka puhuttaa myös koulumaailmassa.  Esim. Haaga-Helia ammattikorkeakoulussa aihe on liiketalouden opiskelijoille pakollinen. 3 op:n kurssilla on 28 lähiopetustuntia, joista kaksi tuntia käytetään tenttiin. Opintojakson sisältö tuntuu järkevältä. Kurssi on otsikoitu Yhteiskuntavastuu ja eettinen liiketoiminta .  Kuvauksessa todetaan, että tavoitteina on, että  opintojakson aikana opiskelija perehtyy yhteiskuntavastuullisen ja eettisen liiketoiminnan perusteisiin. Tavoitteena mainitaan lisäksi, että opiskelijan tulee ymmärtää elinkeinonharjoittajan yhteiskuntavastuuta ja sisäistää kestävän kehityksen – periaatteen merkitys tämän päivän liike-elämässä.
