Jokaisella tieteenalalla ovat omat arvostetut ja vähemmän arvostetut lehtensä. Lehdistä julkaistaan erilaisia listauksia, joissa niiden arvoa määritellään pisteillä tai jakamalla lehdet A ja B lehtiin. Listaukset eivät mielestäni kerro kuitenkaan koko totuutta. Parhaiten listatuissa lehdissä pääsevät läpi yleensä valtavirtaa edustavat tutkimukset. Poikkeavat, innovatiiviset, erilaiset, intohimoja herättävät artikkelit löytyvät yleensä valtavirta-ajattelun ulkopuolelta. Nämä tieteen häiriköt ovat joskus niitä, jotka saattavat tehdä ns.
